Nature inspires me for Landscape Drawing

Ive had a lot of unique experiences whilst painting different landscape oil paintings all more than the western United states. 1 day while gazing up at Mt. Timpanogos in Utah, was a single of them. I wasnt new for the region and had typically driven there on weekends to feel 1 with nature and to paint. I truly felt like I was a a part of my surroundings I know that sounds romantic, but its true. Whenever you live among your subject matter, you see beyond the superficial.

The day was excellent for flower artwork as the buds were blooming brilliant reds, blues, yellows, and purples, which felt as if they were showing off just for me. The scenic fields, trees, and excellent summer time sunlight was inspiring. I set up my easel within a good shady spot under the tree and began to sling paint (my term for painting quick) when I start a landscape oil painting. An artist has only an hour or so to operate on location prior to the scene modifications.

Following a number of quiet minutes, the birds and animals often commence to have curious, and come closer for a greater appear. As I glanced up from my canvas of flower artwork, out in front of me I saw a strange-looking little animal leaping more than the alfalfa. It was disappearing and reappearing in the field. Several moments passed, and I again started to concentrate on my perform.

Then I looked down and there it was, with its front feet on my shoe, looking up at me. Naturally I was startled, jerked my foot away and stated one thing out loud. The long-tailed weasel (I discovered afterward thats what it was) then darted underneath my jeep and was gone. I dont don't forget when the flower artwork painting turned out or not, but Ill in no way overlook the day I met the friendly weasel.
